Peace Partners is a registered UK charity committed to meeting the fundamental human needs of clean air and water, nutritious food and individual peace. To fulfil our aims, Peace Partners works with individuals, groups and organisations who share this vision.
Along with other organisations and in  particular, we partner with and support the unique, innovative programmes of The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), helping people most in need worldwide.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us move forward with our projects making a difference to the lives of many. We work hard to make sure volunteers learn new skills and receive the support they need. You are a vital part of the team.

Current volunteer opportunities

Fundraising Manager
Work with the Fundraising Trustee to develop a fundraising strategy. Inspire and support the Campaign Co-ordinators along with assisting the Event Manager to devise and organise special fundraising appeals and events.

Campaign Co-ordinator
Work with the Fundraising Manager to research fundraising opportunities and support the Events Manager to devise and organise fundraising events.

Donor Liaisons Co-ordinator
Cultivate and maintain the relationship between Peace Partners and our key donors. Create and action upon ways to maximise donor engagement, improve satisfaction and increase retention. 

Public Relations Co-ordinator
Work with our Fundraising Trustee to develop an effective PR strategy.  Draft press releases and make contact with journalists to maximise our exposure for our events and programs.

Trustee with Fundraising Experience
Champion the Peace Education Programme and the work of Peace Partners in this field along with our fundraising effort for humanitarian relief and the Food for People initiatives.  Join the Board of Trustees and make a difference!


What will you be doing?
  • Provide leadership on the fundraising activities of Peace Partners with the focus on promoting its aims and objectives, and promoting its solutions to help build and implement its vision.
  • Deliver significant improvements in the fundraising activities of Peace Partners.
  • Provide strategic oversight of project implementation for your area of expertise.
  • Champion the Peace Education Programme and the work of Peace Partners in this field along with its fundraising effort for humanitarian relief and the Food for People initiatives
  • Draw on your networks to support our work.

What are we looking for?Experience of working at a senior management / leadership level.
Demonstrable and practical experience of overseeing changes in the fundraising profile and activities of a charity and delivering improved benefits as a result of this.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to take collective responsibility for the governance of our charity.
  • Ability to work at a strategic and visionary level whilst understanding the detail and complexities of delivery, and the influencing skills needed to bring staff and stakeholders along with plans.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Ability to analyse risks and opportunities and take a balanced approach to both.
  • Have access to an extensive network and a willingness to draw on contacts as appropriate.
  • Long term commitment to Peace Partners.

What difference will you make?This is an important role in this exciting time in advancing the work of Peace Partners in its role supporting the Prem Rawat Foundation and its unique innovative programmes, especially the Peace education programme. (PEP).
The Peace Education Programme emphasises a person's inner resources. It can enable people to stand back and make conscious decisions and take positive action in their lives. It increases self-awareness and can help people to accept their differences without resorting to anger or violence. Your contribution and support would maximise the potential for peace education.
You would be part of a great team who are very focussed and passionate about making a difference in people's lives both in the UK and worldwide.
