![]() Prem Rawat’s book, Splitting the Arrow, has sold more than 15,000 copies in Japan in the first month since its release. In the book release events in Kyoto and Tokyo over 60% of the attendees were people who had read the book and were hearing Prem speak for the first time. I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the project by ordering a book or donating books through the Kifubon project. Your support has been an integral part of this success. ![]() The ‘Kifubon project’ allows people to purchase books and the publisher then distributes them to prisons, orphanages and various institutions around Japan. This project has been warmly welcomed by the Japanese public and the media. At least 5 major articles about the book will be coming out in the next 2 months. The total outreach of all those articles will be a combined 2 and a half million readers, with more in the pipeline. Thanks to this project Splitting the Arrow is now in the library in every prison and orphanage throughout Japan. At one prison, the warden and the guards have all read the book that was donated. The warden was so impressed, that he wants all of the 900 inmates to have a chance to read it. He ordered 50 copies just for their facility. The books are being used in reading circles, in which inmates take turns reading aloud and sharing their feelings. The Kifubon book donation project is now taking its first steps outside of Japan. An educational institute in Cambodia is being sent 100 books through the project. If you would like to support the project and share the understanding, you’re welcome to join in. And for those of you who want to donate 60 or more books to the project, there are some copies of the signed leather-backed books still available. The publisher’s website now has a new credit card payment option and more shipping options. http://www.premrawat-japan.com/en Getting this book to be a best-seller is a long term project and one that will simultaneously introduce Prem’s message to millions of new people around the world. If you would like to get involved and support this project please feel welcome to do so at whatever level is comfortable for you. If you simply want to relax and enjoy witnessing the beauty of what’s unfolding through this project, that’s fine too. Whatever you choose, I hope you’ll let me keep you in touch as this project grows around the world. Thank you again, and best wishes, Max Editor
