On Saturday October 3rd, Peace Partners will hold an evening of celebration in recognition of the success of the TPRF 'Food for People' program and sustainability initiatives around the world.

With a mouth-watering line-up of live music, films, food, celebrity speakers and interaction with YOU in setting and questioning the agenda for the coming term. The evening promises to do justice to the hard work and wonderful achievements of everyone who has been involved and provide direction for the work that lies ahead; hence the banner title for the evening: 'Forging Ahead'.

All funds raised through the evening will improve the quality of life for thousands of people, helping to move them and their communities out of the downward cycle of poverty. So it's time for YOU to treat yourself to a memorable night out in London's Mayfair, celebrate the successes of the programs you support AND help others at the same time!

The evening will start with a welcome and reception drink and will include:

·
An update on new developments at the Food For People facilities by Daya Rawat, President of The Prem Rawat Foundation.

·      Youth Changemaker and Social Activist, Ayrton Cable

The music:

Celebrate Life Events  are happy to be showcasing unique musical performances at this event from:

Ganga Thappa and Namlo Trio ~  from Nepal.  A fusion of Indian/Nepalese/Mali and South American sounds to delight the ears and soothe the heart.

Mudibu ~ Singer/ song writer from Burundi, came to the UK as young teenager fleeing from the civil war.  Singing and playing music have always been his anchor and refuge.  His voice is  a powerhouse of emotions and feeling  that touch and ignite the very core of the listener.

Gala Finale from Tim Hain a showman of many talents, singer, song writer and guitarist, a contemporary blues/ country guitarist who is inspired by African melodies and rhythms and plays a unique combination of these two sounds.

The evening music will also feature the acclaimed music from Chris Mac Vittie and Daya Rawat.  Two voices, one message in musical harmony.  A chance to hear some of the songs from their new album 'The Envy of Stars'.  Listen and be enchanted.

And more:
  • There will be inspiring short films from the places that matter
  • The chance to make positive suggestions for the future way forward, based upon 3 questions, prepared by Ayrton Cable.
