Taking time out from his busy South Asian tour, Prem Rawat gave an interview for “The Nation”, a current affairs programme on a major Malaysian TV network. During the inspiring 60-minute interview with presenter Jessy Chahal, Prem covered a wide range of topics with characteristic passion and humour.
Developing the theme of “what you are looking for is within you”, he went on to describe the predicament of the world, and the necessity to “take the positive actions from every individual” rather than merely “keep doing the same things and expecting a different result”.
He went on to say “This is our time; we have a choice. Our biggest weapon is our choice”. He emphasized that we are all included, that “each one of our existences is important, we all play a role and, if we choose, we can start to make a difference”.
Prem continued the interview by describing the success of the Peace Education and the Food for People programmes in transforming the lives of individuals and communities, and then responded to questions about his newly published book, ‘Splitting the Arrow’.
Invited by the presenter to close the interview with a final few words to the audience, Prem responded by saying, “You have the capacity to change your life. You have the capacity to change the world. Do it. And I wish you all the best, all the happiness and all the joy”.
