Over time the meaning of the word ‘Peace’ has developed greatly. At one point peace would have meant to simply live in non-violence without destruction. But now, peace means so much more. To live in peace, we must still live in non-violence and free of war, but we must also consider others and our planet, as well as our own individual peace. For each of us the term ‘Peace’ may mean something different, but no matter what peace means to us, we all seek it - even if we don’t know it. Furthermore, with the growing developments in technology and media it has never been easier to let yourself be heard, and sadly, recently our media has been dominated by all the wrong messages by all the wrong people. Throughout this past year, war and violence throughout the world has been top of the list for all big media channels, with new developments everyday on how the world is becoming more corrupt and hostile - wouldn’t it be nice to see something different? PeaceCast.tv, like many of us, aim to promote the opposite, the message of peace, providing people with a sense of hope, courage and belongingness.
