We are delighted to announce that one of our partners the WAF Awards is now asking for nominations for 2016! They are looking for pioneers "who develop outstanding projects to secure water, air and food for those in need."
From now to June 12, the call for applications is open to any individual or organisation developing and implementing breakthrough solutions for sustainable water, food and clean air practices.

 The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) to provide aid to victims of earthquake in Ecuador

Following the worst earthquake in Ecuador in living memory, you are warmly invited to respond to this campaign to help those people in most need to rebuild their lives.

Peace Partners will be co-operating with TPRF following the appeal for help for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Ecuador on April 16th.

TPRF will be making an initial grant of at least $25,000 to go to those most affected by the earthquake, and any donation you make to Peace Partners in response to this appeal will directly contribute to this total.

We will keep you updated on progress and how your contribution is helping.

Hope and Healing in Rwanda: African Nation Embraces First PEP

What draws TPRF volunteer Becky Resnick to Rwanda is that despite such a deep and pervasive trauma suffered in the horrific genocide of 1994, every person she has met expresses a strong sense of hope and healing.

Becky was invited to help as a volunteer for the first Rwandan PEP by Diane Mushiyimama, a journalist with connections to many of Rwanda's leaders. The inspiring story can be read here:

Clear Results: TPRF Eye Clinics Serve Thousands in India

This winter, TPRF sponsored four medical clinics in India that provided eye care to 5,180 people at no charge. Many patients expressed deep appreciation for the treatments they received.
 
Bhunneri Devi, who received free prescription glasses at the clinic said, “I was so happy to be able to come get help. Now I can see things clearly.” TPRF partnered with two Indian NGOs to organize the clinics, Premsagar Foundation and Raj Vidya Kender. Read more on TPRF
