All About Fundraising
Here are a few ideas and suggestions for creating your own event:
Foodie Fundraisers
Good food is a sure-fire way to bring people together and put a smile on everyone’s face.
Try organising that Great British Bakeoff competition in the office, Come Dine with Me nights with the neighbours, or a Masterchef-style Innovation Challenge with an exciting set of ingredients.
Why not invite a local chef or baker to judge the results and award prizes?
You could create different themed nights based around world cuisines where everyone brings a dish potluck style, throw a big picnic in the sunshine or simply enjoy a hearty autumn feast.
Share your interests!
Whatever your passion or talent, turn it into an event to get others excited and support Peace Partners at the same time.
Are you an aspiring yogi? Then host a yoga-a-thon in a local hall or studio. Self-proclaimed pottery queen? Create a workshop for people to learn a new skill. Spend your weekends taking bike rides? Get a team together and take up a 24-hour tag-team cycle!
If it Moves – Sponsor it!
Sponsored charity events can be anything from sporty activities to doing something a little silly. Walk, run, cycle, swim, abseil, parachute jump… or you can think outside the box and take part in a sponsored silence, knit-in, conga or perhaps even attempt a new Guinness World Record.
A Night to Remember
Everyone enjoys a good night out, and it’s even better if you’re helping your favourite charity, too. Promote your local talent and host a Battle of the Bands night, or get everyone involved with a little karaoke. Pub quizzes generate some healthy competition and are always a laugh, or maybe you could go old-school and have a disco or bingo night, or both!
Special Days
Here are some ideas for one-off days to amuse or inspire. If you have a good one, try it out and remember to tell us about it too.

“The food is very nice. It’s delicious. I’m very happy that our school has been enrolled in this program. I hope it will help our kids perform well in school.”
